Minnesota preservation efforts cataloged in new blog

Architecture and preservation buffs should enjoy a new blog that will track historic preservation projects around the state.

“Field Notes,” part of the Preservation Alliance of Minnesota’s website, www.mnpreservation.org will provide information on historic preservation issues from across the state, as part of the outreach and advocacy activities of Erin Hanafin Berg, the alliance’s field representative.

Berg and occasional guest bloggers also will discuss projects, community efforts, programs of the alliance and the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and the theory and practice of “preserving our built environment.” The blog will be updated once or twice a week.

The Preservation Alliance of Minnesota describes itself as a statewide, nonprofit historic preservation advocacy and education organization.
