Mark your calendars. Gov. Tim Pawlenty will deliver his annual State of the State Address at noon Thursday, Jan. 15n, from the Minnesota House Chamber at the state Capitol.

It should be a good one, in the “good-as-interesting” sense.

Facing a nearly $5 billion budget deficit, the governor is sure to present some edgy ideas for making ends meet, and you can bet higher taxes won’t be on the list.
