Minnesota legislators to consider fishing ‘double dipping’

A bill allowing anglers to use two lines at once is again under consideration at the Legislature. Bordering states allow it, and a similar bill passed in the House last year, says the International Falls Daily Journal.

A bill allowing anglers to use two lines at once is again under consideration at the Legislature.

Bordering states allow it, and a similar bill passed in the House last year, says the International Falls Daily Journal.

Opponents in the Senate have blocked the bill, though, hook, line and sinker. There are concerns about overfishing.
