Sen. Klobuchar taking to the road in southeastern Minnesota

Fresh from her critically acclaimed and humorous presentation at the Washington Press Club Foundation dinner — and the recent stimulus discussions on the Senate floor — Sen. Amy Klobuchar hits the road to southeastern Minnesota Tuesday during the President’s Day recess.

Her Tuesday schedule reads:

News conference to announce affordable housing grants for Minnesota communities at the Kahler Grand Hotel

12:15 p.m.       Rushford

Meeting about energy conservation and tour of Tri-County Electric Cooperative’s new headquarters building with its geothermal energy system at the Tri-County Electric Cooperative

2:15 p.m.         La Crescent

Meeting about health care issues and tour of the new “green” Gundersen Lutheran Clinic building, 331 S. Third St.

3:45 p.m.         Winona

Meeting with Winona city officials and tour of the Winona Public Library, 151 West Fifth St.

I wish she would have the courage to mention her failed campaign promises to the people of MN. In fact, why not MN post holding her to account for her promises?
