For the third time in eight days, Gov. Tim Pawlenty is in Moorhead, checking out flood damage.
He was there last Monday and Friday, when the river was rising to record levels; today the river has dropped a bit, but remains in flood stage. He’s meeting today with Moorhead Mayor Mark Voxland, City Manager Michael Redlinger, Clay County Sheriff Bill Bergquist and Moorhead Police Chief David Ebinger, the FEMA federal coordinating official for the area.
And he’ll also see some of the 700 Minnesota National Guard soldiers he activated to help fight the flood.
