Gov. Tim Pawlenty will speak and pray today at the National Day of Prayer event at the Capitol to mark its 58th observance. With the Legislature in session, maybe we all should.
The event runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the Capitol steps. The governor’s scheduled for 12:30 p.m.
From there, he’ll go directly to the DNR office on Lafayette Road in St. Paul to buy a fishing license, in preparation for the 61st annual Minnesota Governor’s Fishing Opener this weekend on White Bear Lake.
