It’s now easier to find out who’s incarcerated in Hennepin County’s jail or adult corrections facility, should anyone want to know.
Easy web access to the jail roster — which holds suspects who have been charged with a crime, but not convicted — has been available since 2005. But now you can also easily find those getting three squares a day in the adult detention facility, which houses offenders who are serving up to one-year sentences. (Longer than that and they’re off to state institutions.)
County officials say the new improved detention roster “will provide a seamless look at anyone incarcerated in a Hennepin adult correctional facility.” Ain’t technology wonderful?
