GOP candidates for governor head to Roseville tonight

At least nine Republicans who’d like to be their party’s nominee for governor will attend a political picnic tonight in Roseville.

MPR says organizers are counting on these candidates: state Reps Tom Emmer, Paul Kohls and Marty Seifert, state Sens. David Hann and Mike Jungbauer, former state auditor Pat Anderson, and Leslie Davis, Bill Haas and Phil Herwig. State Rep. Laura Brod is a maybe.

House District 54A Republicans will host the picnic at Roseville’s Central Park from 5:30 to 9 p.m.

I can’t believe this is the Republican slate. The Democrats have too much talent and the Republicans have, well, these guys.
