St. Paul officials will name a conference room at City Hall for retired City Attorney Ed Starr with a ceremony Wednesday in the City Attorney’s office.
Starr served as City Attorney for 10 years in the 1980s under Mayor George Latimer.
Latimer and current Mayor Chris Coleman will be on hand for the 4 p.m. dedication on the fourth floor of City Hall.
Appropriately, after the ceremony, the party will move across the street for a reception at the American Burger Bar, the current tenant in the old Gallivan’s restaurant space, which was a popular hangout for City Hall types.
Just like the old days, there will be a cash bar.
