Reps Michele Bachmann and Ron Paul speak tonight at U

A student town hall at the University of Minnesota tonight will feature two high-profile Republicans — 6th District Rep. Michele Bachmann and Texas Rep. Ron Paul — talking about monetary reform, limited government and free-market economics.

It starts at 7 p.m. in Northrop Auditorium on the University campus.

Paul sought the Republican presidential nomination last year.

The event is sponsored by the Minnesota Campaign for Liberty, the Republican Party of Minnesota, the Minneapolis City Republican Committee, College Republicans and Students for a Conservative Voice.

Great. Just what our students need, a dose of stupid to end their week. It’s hard to respect Paul when he’s appearing with Minnesota’s version of the Wicked Witch.

High-quality post there Mac. Good to see you’re still following the rules: “Rule 5: Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” Why is the left so wildly disturbed by a female conservative? Suspect it will be a thought provoking evening.

Yes, it will be interesting. Additionally, I can say that the left is not wildly disturbed either by a female, or a conservative. This particular female consertive, however, IS disturbing to many on the left, and even some on the right. Many of her speeches are peppered with documented lies. Why would any party be happy with that? No, thanks.

Ahh.. “Rules for Radicals” quite an obscure reference there Lync. At least you had the “choice and opportunity” to fire off your own zinger. You kids must be even now….
