Clip shows Bachmann calling Iowa’s Steve King ‘stunning’

Members of Congress can be quite complimentary to each other, apparently.

Here’s a video clip, via the Pioneer Press and Politico, of Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann buttering up an embarrassed U.S. Rep. Steve King in a nearly empty chamber.

Last week, Bachmann told an Iowa reporter that she wasn’t pursuing a presidential bid in 2012, but that she thought King would be a good candidate.

Now that would be stunning.

And why is this news? The only thing stunning is the partisan and corrupt nature of journalism today in America.

Lee, you may be new to MinnPost. It’s overwhelmingly partisan, and trying to take shots at Rep. Bachmann is the favorite hobby of MinnPost staff. Actually, I think it’s a requirement to have at least one Bachmann story a day.

Funny how MinnPost fails to mention anything about George Will’s national column on her over the weekend.

Will did a nice job of reminding us why Rep. Bachmann is popular, good at her job, and hands-down a better person than most of us. She has had an exceedingly positive impact on this country, starting with the fact that she and her husband have taken in 23 foster children. Wow!

Ed, “Funny how MinnPost fails to mention anything about George Will’s national column on her over the weekend.”

You for whatever reasons, neglected to read the piece on Monday about the George Will column on Bachmann. Minnpost also provided a link to the Will column which as you mention was about Will’s admiration of the Congresswoman.

As a personal aside, you might want have your ducks in a row before making an easy search that would or in this case did not support your premise. If you follow the link below you should be able to read the article in question.
