Education Minnesota, the giant state teachers’ union, today announced its endorsement of state Sen. Tarryl Clark in her challenge of Republican incumbent Michele Bachmann in the 6th Congressional District race.
Education Minnesota, with 70,000 members, says it’s the state’s largest union.
Education Minnesota President Tom Dooher said in a press release:
“Our members were impressed with Tarryl Clark’s passion, her grasp of the issues and her commitment to working with us to benefit Minnesota’s students. We look forward to helping elect a representative from the 6th District who will fight for students, educators and public schools.”
Maureen Reed also plans to run against Bachmann.
