He’s been campaigning for a year and has two major labor endorsements but still hasn’t made it official.
Tomorrow, though, a big announcement is coming: Mark Dayton is running for governor.
An advisory says he’ll break the big news Wednesday, 9:30 a.m., at the state Capitol. Then, he has plans to tour all Minnesota counties — 87 counties in 87 days.
“This tour will allow me to listen to and learn from Minnesotans in every one of our counties. People everywhere are facing very serious hardships. Our state, which used to rank near the top in economic growth, has now fallen near the bottom. We need a new governor to lead this state to it future greatness.”
