State Rep. Tom Emmer has filed the campaign finance report for his gubernatorial campaign — apparently a day after the Feb. 1 deadline — and it shows he raised $114,852 in 2009. He had $19,154 cash on hand at the end of the year.

The Delano Republican came in second in Tuesday night’s straw poll at his party’s precinct caucuses.

State Rep. Marty Seifert of Marshall, who came in first in the Republican straw polls, had reported earlier that he raised $222,000 in 2009. An additional $20,000 was transferred from his state House account, and he also lent the campaign another $20,000. He had more than $130,000 cash on hand at the end of the year.
