Former Gov. Jesse Ventura did a couple of media interviews last weekend when he came to town to promote his new book, and he also stopped to talk with Rob Hahn, owner of a small publishing firm and a political rookie who’s seeking the Independence Party endorsement for governor.
In a video posted on Hahn’s web site, Ventura offer three tips for the little-known candidate:
- Stay true to your beliefs.
- Get in the debates.
- Don’t get bought by special interests.
In a second video clip, Hahn and Ventura spar a bit over the ex-governor’s suggestion that the Catholic Church should be prosecuted under the federal organized crime laws for covering up sexual abuse by priests. Hahn, a Notre Dame graduate, wouldn’t go that far.
