Gov. Tim Pawlenty will speak with “Meet the Press” moderator David Gregory at a May 27 forum in Minneapolis hosted by the Humphrey Institute’s Center for the Study of Politics and Governance.

The 4 p.m. discussion with Pawlenty at the Ted Mann Concert Hall on the University of Minnesota campus is part of the “Meet the Press” Across America series of discussions with key political and community leaders. Topics will include politics, the Republican Party, and some of the major issues facing the country today, including the economy, immigration and national security. Excerpts will be broadcast on the May 30 “Meet the Press.”

The event is free and open to the public, but seating is limited and online registration is requested. Taping will begin at 4:15. Doors will open for seating beginning at 3:30.
