Matt Entenza’s gubernatorial campaign, well-funded by the candidate’s deep pockets, has a new television ad that begins running today.
Entenza is running in the Aug. 10 DFL primary against party-endorsed House Speaker Margaret Anderson Kelliher and former U.S. Sen. Mark Dayton.
The ad says: “St. Paul keeps failing us.” By that he means the Legislature and governor in the state Capitol, located in St. Paul, not the the lovely city on the banks of the Mississippi River itself. I hope.
There’s no mention of his much-publicized choice for lieutenant governor, Robyne Robinson, in the 30-second ad.
This is Entenza’s third television ad, while none of the other candidates have hit the television airwaves, yet.
Politics in Minnesota reported last week that the Entenza campaign already has spent nearly $500,000 on metro-area TV ads but that there was little evidence that he was picking up much support.
