We’ve been seeing Matt Entenza for governor ads on television since early May — he’s on his third different commercial now and has spent a reported $850,000 on them — and now fellow DFL candidate Mark Dayton is ready to unveil his TV campaign.
The ads will start running next week, the campaign says. We know some of it was shot on a farm north of Cambridge.
MPR reports that Dayton bought $350,000 worth of ad time in the Twin Cities market through June.
Still no word on when the DFL’s endorsed candidate, Margaret Anderson Kelliher, will fire up a television blitz.
All three are drumming up support in anticipation of the Aug. 10 primary.
