Candidates for governor are in Nisswa for another debate

The three candidates for governor are in Nisswa today for a debate sponsored by the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce.

DFLer Mark Dayton, Republican Tom Emmer and the Independence Party’s Tom Horner will face off at Grand View Lodge on Gull Lake, not a bad place to spend a late summer day.

The UpTake will provide live coverage of the debate, which begins at 12:30 p.m.

On Thursday, the gubernatorial race shifts to Winona for a debate hosted by the Coalition of Greater Minnesota Cities. Emmer, though, won’t be joining the other two because of a scheduling conflict, his campaign said.
