No matter who wins today’s DFL gubernatorial primary, the theme will be “We Are Fam-i-ly” Wednesday on the Capitol steps.
The Minnesota DFL has just announced a “united press conference” for 11 a.m.
Slated to appear are U.S. Sens. Amy Klobuchar and Al Franken, all the DFL gubernatorial candidates — win or lose — plus the state’s Democratic members of the congressional delegation, other state officers (such as Attorney General Lori Swanson and Secretary of State Mark Ritchie) and DFL party leaders, such as Brian Melendez and Donna Cassutt.
After months of battling, arms will be raised, hands will be clasped. The real campaign will begin.
