Sen. Al Franken will visit north central Minnesota Wednesday, with stops in Brainerd, Wadena and Camp Ripley.
The Brainerd Dispatch says he’ll discuss tornado recovery in Wadena and give VFW Post 3922 a flag flown over the U.S. Capitol. He’ll be at the Wadena Community and Technical College.
Franken will then be part of an unemployment round table in Brainerd, with Mayor James Wallin and other officials at the Central Lakes College Business and Industry Center.
And he’ll get a tour of Camp Ripley with Commander Lt. Col. Scott St. Sauver and Col. Eric Ahlness of the Minnesota National Guard.
