Sen. Amy Klobuchar’s staff will hold seven forums on the federal farm bill this month around Minnesota.
Klobuchar plans other forums, too, to get input from farmers and rural residents on the 2008 bill, which is scheduled to be renewed in 2012.
The seven scheduled forums will be staffed by Dave Frederickson, Klobuchar’s outreach director for agriculture and rural issues, and others from Klobuchar’s Washington office. Klobuchar plans to attend some of the forums to be scheduled later, her office said.
The scheduled forums are:
