The SEIU, the service employees union in Minnesota, kept its powder dry during the primary election but, not surprisingly, will now endorse DFLer Mark Dayton in the governor’s race.
The group, with 30,000 employees, will join most of the other union organizations in buying the Dayton brand.
There’s a formal announcement of the endorsement this morning at the Capitol.
