Mark Dayton had minor neck surgery last week — a decompression, his aides say — and after a quiet weekend to recover is  now back at work on post-election matters, says the Fargo Forum’s Don Davis on Capitol Chatter.

Katharine Tinucci, his spokeswoman, said the recovery is going well.

“It certainly has not affected his work on the transition team,” Tinucci said.

DFL Sen. Tom Bakk, though, told Don Davis that Dayton had canceled an appointment because of the neck pain.
