While Mark Dayton made the local media rounds over the weekend to discuss the election and recount, we heard nothing from Tom Emmer, who hasn’t done any interviews since coming in a close second in Tuesday’s election. 

Turns out, Emmer spent the weekend in Canada watching his son play hockey, MPR says.

He’s back today and will meet with Gov. Tim Pawlenty this week. Dayton also will meet with Pawlenty.
