Here’s why we should feel good about our local TV news

Sure the ongoing Shelby fest seems to be running forever this week, but most television news observers believe that the Twin Cities is one of the best local television markets in the country.

This clip, from a Chicago morning show, helps us better appreciate this.

They’ve covering a bridge bridge demolition live — waiting and waiting — then go to the weather guy and miss the collapse. And then the two anchors implode.

    Yeah, in the Twin Cities they’d have somebody standing there in the dark “live” ten hours after the implosion.
