League of Women Voters director to leave in January

Keesha Gaskins is leaving her post as executive director of the League of Women Voters Minnesota in January to take a job as senior counsel at the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University School of Law in New York City.

Keesha Gaskins is leaving her post as executive director of the League of Women Voters Minnesota in January to take a job as senior counsel at the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University School of Law in New York City. Gaskins had been with the League since December 2007.

Serving as interim executive director will be Laura Fredrick Wang, currently the organization’s public policy coordinator.
