Sen. Amy Klobuchar works DFL crowd for two hours

Sen. Amy Klobuchar, who arrived at the DFL “victory night’’ celebration far earlier than most pols, worked the crowd and the media for almost two hours before she finally figured out a way to catch a break.

She went to the Minnesota Public Radio broadcast table and put on a set of headphones.

“Actually,” she admitted, “I’m not doing this interview for 10 minutes. But I just needed a break.’’

The headset gave her cover — and peace.
