Sen. Amy Klobuchar, who arrived at the DFL “victory night’’ celebration far earlier than most pols, worked the crowd and the media for almost two hours before she finally figured out a way to catch a break.
She went to the Minnesota Public Radio broadcast table and put on a set of headphones.
“Actually,” she admitted, “I’m not doing this interview for 10 minutes. But I just needed a break.’’
The headset gave her cover — and peace.
