The St. Paul School officials are looking for candidates to fill an interim opening on the board, now that board member Vallay Varro has resigned because of a new job.
The board will interview candidates and then appoint someone to fill out Varro’s term. A new member will be elected to the seat in the November city-wide election.
Board members must be city residents and attend monthly board meetings and committee of the board meetings; they’re paid $900 a month, with health and other employee benefits.
Interested? Submit a letter of interest and a resume by Jan. 3 by e-mail or fax to Assistant Board Clerk Marilyn Polsfuss at email@example.com or fax: 651-290-8331. Qualified applicants will need to participate in a public interview by board members at a special meeting on Jan. 12 at the Administration building at 360 Colborne St. in St. Paul.
