Gov. Pawlenty bids farewell to Rochester Chamber Dec. 14

Gov. Tim Pawlenty, who’s scheduled to leave office at the end of the year (assuming a court challenge of the November election doesn’t keep him around a while longer), will say farewell to business people in Rochester on Dec. 14.

The Rochester Chamber of Commerce is hosting “a farewell visit” with Pawlenty from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. next Tuesday at the Doubletree Hotel in downtown Rochester.

Pawlenty is leaving so that he can jet around the country, raise money for Republicans, make television appearances, and otherwise hobnob with rich big shots.

How will I know the difference between Pawlenty being gone and the last four years?

I never thought I would say this, but as a leader,
he is far outclassed by Tom Emmer. Look for that streak of meanness of spirit appear before he leaves the stage.
