There’s a state Capitol road show scheduled for Friday, when two Republican state senators — Geoff Michel of Edina and Bill Ingebrigtsen of Alexandria — take their committees to Hibbing to discuss environmental regulations, job creation and the business climate.

Michel, chair of the Jobs and Economic Growth Committee, and Ingebrigtsen, chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Committee, will hold a joint committee hearing at Hibbing Community College at 2 p.m.

Senate Majority Leader Amy Koch of Buffalo and other members of the Senate Republican caucus are also expected.

Beforehand, committee members will tour the Hibbing Taconite plant.
