Advocates for those with disabilities will have plenty to talk about with legislators Monday, when they arrive at the Capitol for Disability Advocacy Day.
There’s a strong sense that budget fixes in the past have taken a heavy toll on those who need help with everyday life activities in order to work and live independently. Further cuts this session would be devastating, they say.
Some legislators will speak with the disability group at 10 a.m. and then many will attend scheduled meetings with representatives from their own districts.
