All the talk about the stadium debate usually involves talking heads on the news, side-by-side op-eds and discussions at the water cooler.

Now there’s what sounds like a real stadium debate Wednesday, sponsored by the U of M’s Debate Team.

It’s at 7 p.m. in Willey Hall at the university, 225 19th Ave. S., Minneapolis.

Featured participants:

  • Jeff Anderson, assistant director of public affairs for the Minnesota Vikings;
  • Art Rolnick, a senior fellow at the U’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs and a former senior vice president and director of research at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis;
  • State Sen. John Marty, DFL-Roseville;
  • Cory Merrifield, founder of savethevikes.org.

The debate is free and open to the public, and there will be time for questions.
