As his presidential bid takes on a more formal posture, former Gov. Tim Pawlenty continues to expand his GPS settings from the well-worn path between New Hampshire to Iowa and will speak today in Cleveland.

Ohio is a swing state.

And he’s announced an April 15 Tea Party tax rally in Boston, home of the original tea party 237 years ago.

At today’s event hosted by the Republican Party of Cuyahoga County in Cleveland, he’s expected to talk about the economy, after telling Fox News that the economy is likely headed to a double-dip recession.

But you can bet they’ll also hear about his about his blue-collar roots in South St. Paul.
