Charles Glasrud, who has been the Stevens County attorney, was named a district court judge today by Gov. Mark Dayton.

He replaces Peter Hoff, who retired in January.

He lives in Morris and will sit in the sprawling judicial district that includes Big Stone, Chippewa, Grant, Kandiyohi, Lac Qui Parle, Meeker, Pope, Renville, Stevens, Swift, Traverse, Wilkin and Yellow Medicine counties.
