Gov. Mark Dayton is a late addition to the speaker list of the WomenWinning annual luncheon Tuesday in Minneapolis.

That’s just a few days before a possible a state shutdown, which would start July 1 if no budget deal is reached, so the governor might have some interesting observations.

The headliner will be Dee Dee Myers, White House press secretary for former President Bill Clinton.

The WomenWinning group was established in 1982 to increase the number of pro-choice women in public office.

The luncheon is Tuesday 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Historic Milwaukee Depot, 300 Washington Ave. S., Minneapolis.

  1. Yay! Looking forward to the luncheon even more.

I am so proud of our governor–holding the line on that most Minnesota of values: “We all do better when we all do better.”
