Dan Hoxworth, who has led several local nonprofits, including St. Paul’s Neighborhood House in St. Paul, is the new president and CEO of Child & Family Tennessee in Knoxville.

Hoxworth, who lives in Mahtomedi, most recently had been providing consulting services to nonprofits. He’d also been executive director of Transit for Livable Communities and was president of Neighborhood House, on St. Paul’s West Side, where he developed the  Paul and Sheila Wellstone Center for Community Building.

“We interviewed numerous candidates, and it was a unanimous decision to hire Dan Hoxworth,” CFT Board Chair Dr. Karen Sowers said. “He brings years of experience in the nonprofit sector and has helped other organizations achieve success both with their clients and financially.”

Child & Family serves 16 counties in East Tennessee and says it “helps people thrive and not simply survive by helping them achieve healthy lives both emotionally and physically and secure financial independence.”
