Some state Post Offices could close

KARE-11 News lists a couple dozen of the post offices around the state that could be shut down as the Postal Service tries to cut costs.

Reporter Jana Shortal talked with Mark Mattison in tiny Warsaw about the importance of the post office in a town that doesn’t even have a city hall.

“I think it’s real important to a town. Besides picking up the mail you meet people there and get the chance to talk, especially in a small community where everyone knows each other,” Mattison said.
