Progressive groups that don’t like the new budget deal will rally this morning in the state Capitol rotunda.
Not many legislators will be around to see them, but the news cameras might be there (they hope).
The 10:30 a.m. rally is organized by TakeAction Minnesota and Minnesotans for a Fair Economy. They say they’ll “speak out about the state budget resolution that has big banks, health insurance companies, the chamber of commerce and multi-millionaires making out like bandits while schools, working families and kids are forced to survive with less.”
They said they want to let “leaders know they’re clear about the damage the budget did to our state, putting corporate interests ahead of the people of Minnesota.”
