Gov. Mark Dayton is back on the road this morning with another of his jobs tour events, this one in Faribault.
The 10:30 a.m. panel at South Central College includes Faribault Mayor John Jasinski, state Rep. Patti Fritz, South Central College President Keith Stover and others from local government, business, manufacturers, non-profits, education leaders, and a college student. The summit is open to the public.
As in the previous appearances in Winona, Fergus Falls, Brainerd and Virginia, the goal is to gather ideas on job creation from Minnesotans and to highlight Minnesota’s strong business climate and economic development opportunities.
Later, Dayton will speak at the grand reopening of the Faribault Woolen Mill.
