A regular broadcast radio show never panned out for Gov. Mark Dayton, so now he’s going to the web to communicate with state residents.
Welcome to the “Office of the Governor Blog.”
It started without much fanfare last week, with items about jobs, the Lynx, a solar energy plant up north and pheasant hunting. It included some links to news stories around the state about the governor.
There’s also going to be a governor’s newsletter that will be go out to those who sign up.
The governor’s website also does have a page for “radio actualities,” or sound clips of statements and press conferences that radio stations are welcome to use on the air.
