Ryan Furlong, who’s been Gov. Mark Dayton’s deputy press secretary for new media, said today that he’s leaving the Capitol to be press secretary for the nonprofit progressive group A Better Minnesota.

He’d worked for the governor for one year; before that, he was press assistant for Tarryl Clark’s unsuccessful run for Congress in 2010.
