Former Sen. Rick Santorum is scheduled to be in Luverne tonight, at a Pizza Ranch, the restaurant chain which, as we saw in Iowa, has become a hot new gathering spot for political events.

And Politico reporter Reid Epstein said in a Twitter message that Mitt Romney told reporters on the campaign plane that he’s stopping in Minnesota en route to Nevada, although details weren’t clear.

And Ron Paul is the first to air television ads, with a fast-action commercial using graphic animation, reminiscent of the for Ford F-150 ads.

But recent polls show Newt Gingrich appears to be leading among Minnesota Republicans.
