Senate Majority Caucus Whip Lillie gets the news out

Lillie’s job as majority whip is to pass along information from the leadership to caucus members before votes or during debates.

Minnesota Senate Republicans have elected Sen. Ted Lillie as their majority caucus whip.

In his first term from Lake Elmo, Lillie’s job as majority whip is to pass along information from the leadership to caucus members before votes or during debates.

He’s experienced with getting the word out: He’s co-publisher of the Lillie Suburban newspaper chain.

Lillie quickly named four assistant majority whips:

  • Sen John Carlson on Bemidji
  • Sen. Al DeKruif  of Madison Lake
  • Sen. Carla Nelson of Rochester
  • Sen. Pam Wolf of Spring Lake Park.
