Duluth’s State of the City speech delayed by mayor’s illness

Duluth Mayor Don Ness is plagued by a stomach virus, so today’s State of the City speech has been postponed.

Mayor Don Ness of Duluth was scheduled to present his State of the City address today, but he’s sick, so it’s been postponed.

The city sent this release Sunday:

[Duluth, MN] – The Mayor’s State of the City address scheduled for Monday, March 5, 2012 is postponed. Mayor Ness is suffering from a severe stomach virus and is recovering at home. Details of the rescheduled event are not yet available.

Duluth received 23 inches of snow in the past seven days, so maybe those who’d planned to attend can consider this a snow day.
