The conservative Freedom Foundation of Minnesota is bringing television personality and author John Stossel to town April 17 to speak on “Why Government Fails, but Individuals Succeed.”

The conservative Freedom Foundation of Minnesota is bringing television personality and author John Stossel to town April 17 to speak on “Why Government Fails, but Individuals Succeed.”

That’s also the name of his new book, which will be released a week before the speech.

Stossel, a libertarian author, columnist and television host, use to work for ABC’s “20/20” show, and is now on Fox News.

Tickets for the 5:30 p.m. event at the Sofitel in Bloomington, which includes a dinner and reception, start at $30. Cost of a sponsorship is $15,000.
