A prayer service for Chris and Sara Tiedeman, who were seriously injured in a car crash last week, was held Thursday night at their church, Eagle Brook Church in Blaine. It was led by Pastor Matt Anderson.

And there has been an outpouring of bipartisan support for the couple, offering prayers and support.

Chris Tiedeman is a political strategist who has worked for the Republican Party of Minnesota and on campaigns for former Sen. Norm Coleman and former Gov. Tim Pawlenty.

The couple was injured Saturday in a head-on crash in Blaine. Both have been hospitalized in intensive care, although Chris was doing better Thursday and watched some of the hockey tournament, according to the couple’s Caring Bridge site.
