The new Governor’s Task Force for the Prevention of Bullying is in St. Cloud Tuesday to hear from students, parents and educators.
Task Force Co-Chair Walter Roberts and members Vangie Castro, Phil Duran and Curt Carpenter will be at Apollo High School, first to hear from students and later, for a session with adults.
The task force is looking at how schools deal with bullying and will provide recommendations to the governor and the Legislature on what actions might be needed to better deal with the problem.
The meeting with students is at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Apollo; at 5:30 p.m. they’ll hear from parents, educators and community members.
