State officials are looking for candidates to fill four seats on the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Board of Trustees.
Two of the openings on the 15-member board are for at-large positions, and there’s one open seat from the 2nd Congressional District and one from the 6th.
The board handles academic programs, fiscal management, personnel, admissions requirements, tuition and fees, and rules and regulations for the 31 state universities, community colleges and technical colleges.
The Trustee Candidate Advisory Council is taking applications through June 4; selected candidates will be interviewed by the council June 13 and 14 in St. Paul. Two to four recommended candidates for each opening will be sent to Gov. Mark Dayton, who will make the final appointments.
