The Green Party’s endorsing convention will be in Minneapolis. 

The Green Party holds its state endorsing convention this weekend in Minneapolis. One of the party’s presidential candidates, Jill Stein, is scheduled to be in town for the event.

No word yet on whether better-known party candidate Roseanne Barr will be here. Also running is Kent Mesplay.

The convention runs Saturday and Sunday at the Tapestry Folkdance Center, 3748 Minnehaha Ave., Minneapolis.

Voting for the presidential candidates is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday. Also on the agenda: Election of delegates to the party’s national convention on July 12–15 in Baltimore and election of state party coordinating committee members and national representatives.
